ABOUT US
Welcome to Delta Driving School.
Delta driving school which is located in the middle of Kyoto city established in 1960.
We are one of the oldest driving school in Kyoto and many clients have graduated from our school in the past.
We are the only school in Kyoto city that provides lessons of large size vehicle license.
In addition we are here not only as a driving school to get a driver’s license but also as a traffic safety education center in Kyoto providing traffic safety lessons for children, safety bicycle training for junior high and high school students, and continued driver’s education for new business persons and professional drivers.
DRIVING LESSONS in ENGLISH
We provide driving lessons in English for the clients who want to get a driver’s license but are worried about Japanese language. We have a lot of graduates from outside of Japan.
We hope we will help you to get a driver’s license.
FREE SHUTTLE BUS
We provide three shuttle buses an hour to various areas so that you can come to take lessons comfortably.
More than 80 bus stops including major stations and universities in Kyoto city are available.

- Need at least ¥126,500(tax inclusive) in total to graduate. (E)
- (A) At least 31driving lessons and 26 classroom lessons are required by law.
- (B) At least 29 driving lessons and 2 classroom lessons are required by law.
- (C) At least 34 driving lessons and 26 classroom lessons are required by law.
- (D) At least 32 driving lessons and 2 classroom lessons are required by law.
- (E) At least 4 driving lessons are required by law.
＜Extra driving lesson fee＞1st Stage：¥11,000(tax inclusive)per driving lesson/ 2nd Stage：¥11,000(tax inclusive)per driving lesson
- An extra driving lesson(s) is required by law if the minimum required skill has not been attained after the number of lessons shown above.
- At least 1 driving lesson is required by law before taking driving re-test if you fail the driving test.
＜Driving re-test fee＞¥5,500(tax inclusive) per driving re-test
- Driving re-test fee is required if you fail the driving test.
＜Lerner’s Permit written re-exam fee＞¥1,700(tax free) per written re-exam
- Lerner’s Permit written re-exam fee is required if you fail the written exam.
＜Cancellation fee＞¥5,500 (tax inclusive) per driving lesson
One day before the driving lesson : Cancellation fee is required.

AGE AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ENROLLMENT (Included in the fee)

- Visual acuity will be tested on-site.:
At least each eye 0.3(≒20/65) Both eyes 0.7(≒20/28)
(Glasses or contact lenses are acceptable)
- Color vision deficiency will be tested on-site.
